Information of Healthcare Engineering Systems

Hospitals, day procedure centres and clinics are required to ensure that the healthcare engineering systems are in compliance with the requirements of the relevant codes of practice.

Regulatory requirements of Healthcare Engineering Systems for Day Procedure Centres will take effect from 1 January 2028. The licensee shall ensure that the day procedure centre complies with the requirements, completes all the application and assessment processes, and obtains a Letter of Approval from the Department of Health before 1 January 2028.
